Computational
Domain
The Cartesian coordinate system has its
origin at the beginning of the hump on the lower wall. The extent of the
computational domain follows the suggestions given for the grids proposed
for this test case.
The four boundaries of the computational
domain are:
1. Inlet boundary is a line x=constant
located at x=-6.39c.
2. Outlet boundary is a line y=constant
located at x=4.00c.
3. The bottom boundary includes the
hump. It has been defined from the “Structured 2D Grid #3”
which does not include the slot. The non-dimensional coordinates of the bottom
boundary are given in the file bottom_boundary.dat.
4. In the experiment, there is a flat
top wall located at y=0.90905c. An alternative definition of the top wall shape
to approximately take into account side plate blockage is given in the file newtop.dat (“Structured
2D Grid #4” without viscous boundary-layer at the top wall).
