Selected flow quantities

The aim of this exercise is twofold:

− Solution Verification exercise (test of self-consistency of the estimated numerical uncertainties for different grid refinement levels is suggested).

− Validation exercise using a simplified form of the ASME V&V20 procedure.

The selected flow quantities are:

− Pressure coefficient along the bottom wall (-14.67D<x<14.67D).

− Pressure coefficient along the 4 faces of the square prism.

− Velocity components and Reynolds stresses at 4 vertical lines located at x=D, x=4D and x=6D.
