Computational Domain

The Cartesian coordinate system has its origin at the centre of the square cylinder with edge length D.

The distance of the bottom of the square cylinder to the plate is S=0.25D.

The computational domain covers only the region of the flow above the plate and it does not include the end-plate flap of the experimental set-up (adjusted to maintain parallel flow below the plate).
