Selected flow quantities

The aim of this exercise is twofold:

− Solution Verification exercise (test of self-consistency of the estimated numerical uncertainties for different grid refinement levels is suggested).

− Validation exercise using a simplified form of the ASME V&V20 procedure.

The selected flow quantities are:

− Pressure coefficient along the bottom wall (-0.8054c<x<2.125c).

− Friction coefficient along the bottom wall (-0.07c<x<1.57c).

− Re-attachment point.

− Velocity components and Reynolds stresses at 8 vertical lines located at x=0.65c, x=0.66c, x=0.8c, x=0.9c, x=c, x=1.1c, x=1.2c and x=1.3c.
